Watermelon Waltz


Watermelon Waltz, aka watermelon juice is a dance of watermelon and mint, combined with freshness!!   It's a must-have summer refresher.  Watermelon is a leader in lycopene and rich in various vitamins. 

Recipe:

Watermelon - 1 medium
Mint leaves - a handful
Salt and Pepper (optional) - to taste
Lemon juice (optional) - to taste

Makes around 8-10 glasses of juice.
  • I used the Omega juicer to make the juice.  Cut watermelon into pieces. Remove seeds, if any. Put it through the juicer.  Add the mint leaves, keeping a few aside for garnishing.
  • Optionally, can also add lemon juice and/or rose syrup (like Rooh Afza) or sugar.  Skip the salt and pepper if adding the rose syrup or sugar.
  • Garnish with mint leaves.  Serve chilled.
